Asimov's laws of robotics

A short video and description of these laws and what they mean

Asimovs Law

Asimov's laws of robotics are suitable and fair, they show how we as humans do not want robots to be used for harmful purposes but rather intellectual ones. If our robots were to be programmed to hurt another class mate, that would be violating the first law and the second, becuase it would be harming a human as well as following our orders/code to inflict harm. If our bot was to run off course and not obey the code we had assigned, our robot would be violating the second law. If our task bot was to purposly run onto a wall and destroy itself, it would be breaking the third and final law.

The robot Kane and I have created is a programmed to obey these laws and I think that the bot would be able to up hold these laws unless another decided to use our robot in the wrong way. This bot is easy to programme and follows direct orders from the programme, and it is also able to persue in all the endeavours we programme it for.

All in all, I find that these laws are needed to hold order between robots and humanity, and if they were not in place, who know what robots would be doing to humanity. Though it might sound ridiculous, I have seen far too many movies to not believe that robots could have a detrimental effect on humanity in a bad way if we don't regulate them, so thank you Asimov.
